Brush Tu Art (BTAC) is a Contemporary Artist Collective in Nairobi.
Brush Tu Art Studio was founded in mid-2013 with the primary aim of uniting artists to develop their creative talents and collaborate on large-scale artworks. One of the key motivations for the three founding members was to secure a shared studio space, which laid the foundation for the collective. The group later grew to five members, including Elias Mung’ora and Waweru Gichuhi, and eventually expanded to six with the addition of Kimani Ngaru in 2015—a former lecturer to two of the original members. At that time, the collective was operating from their space at 379 Ol Leleshwa in Buruburu estate, located in the eastern part of Nairobi.
